ATLANTA BUILDER CLEARED ON ALL FEDERAL
CHARGES RELATED TO MORTGAGE FRAUD

Kim Firm, LLC successfully obtained a directed verdict of acquittal for
Randall Tharp, an Atlanta
based residential home builder. Mr.
Tharp was indicted in April 2006, on federal charges of conspiracy to commit
mortgage fraud, money laundering, bank fraud, and wire fraud stemming from
the sale of several luxury residential homes in the metro Atlanta area.
Judge Beverly B. Martin, in an unprecedented ruling,
issued an order acquitting Mr. Tharp of all charges upon the conclusion of
the Government’s case on November 16, 2007.
